I am very pleased with the results of my university freshmen’s test scores after they worked on the Weaver Reading Program. They have increased their scores significantly in both comprehension and vocabulary. Students noted that the repetitiveness of the vocabulary program helped them better learn the words. I noticed that the words are at college level where they need to be. Students also commented how they like the comprehension portion because after it explained the subject, main idea, and supporting details, the program gave them much practice in applying the skills.
