During the five and one-half years I taught in the North Carolina Community College system, I had the good fortune to have the WEAVER Reading Efficiency System for my developmental reading students to use as a supplement to their traditional classroom work. It made an enormous difference in their progress. Many of them shared with me that they found the work on WEAVER to be very interesting and challenging and that the more time they spent on the system, the better their reading comprehension skills became. I strongly advise any community college to look very closely at Weaver before purchasing other software to support developmental students. In fact, I would advise not to even waste time looking at anything else. WEAVER IS THE ONE THAT GETS THE JOB DONE!
